Recent project:
This is Uganda is an initiative by a group of young socially involved people from the Netherlands, Germany and Uganda. Their plan to set up a festival for Ugandans to express their culture and to empower young people, young women in particular. This inspired a lot of people to participate which made the first edition of the This is Uganda Festival in 2010 a very successful one.
|
They are working hard on the next edition which has to be even bigger and better and will take place in December of this year. But without enough financial support the This is Uganda Festival 2011 is not going to be more than just a dream.

The YouandKi. movement
When Jovanna Kruitbosch and Martijn Lugtigheid founded Kiboots in 2010 as young creatives they already befriended many talented and young people worldwide with no platform or money to start out their own small business or get their beautiful creations out there for the world to see.
They knew that working with, and helping out other young entrepreneurs was the way they wanted to work. Now and in the future. And not only in rural environments but also in the their hometown of Amsterdam.
With every purchase (online) they raise money for their Youandki. movement in which they help out individuals, groups or projects all of the world that they believe in and that need any sort of support. Besides that they work with young designers, photographers, etc. as much as they can back in Amsterdam.
Give a little, take a little. Make the world go round.
