The past few days have been amazing! We have so much to share with all of you, where to start. Of course, at the beginning! The first day of our pop-up store was exciting. How would it look like in real life? How would people react? We were definitely nervous! But as we hoped, it turned out to be a huge success! The details in the shop window absolutely drawed the attention to our beautiful boots before entering our shop and inside people became even more enthusiastic. Besides meeting new Kiboots fans, we shared our vision and explained how our idea became reality followed by answering questions on the production process of our favourite brand. We received the most incredible reactions as ‘This is the coolest concept ever!’ ‘Are you guys doing any shows?’ and ‘OMG I LOVE THIS!’ All together an even more successful day then we could have ever imagined…

The following day our pop-up store moved into the neighbouring building; the VIP lounge at the Empire Hotel. We were situated next to ‘Marlies Dekkers’ a famous Dutch lingerie designer and together we created a sparkling ‘Dutch’ corner. The goal of our presence at the VIP lounge was creating a ‘buzz’ amongst all present fashion lovers and increasing our brand awareness and..it defininitly paid off! Jovanna and Martijn, the founders of Kiboots, were extremely popular. Interviews and constant photographs were taken by fashion bloggers, fashion editors, journalists, tv personalities and many new Kiboots fans, all very overwhelming…

So far, we have met so many interesting, passionate and inspiring people who all adore Kiboots. We are speechless. And very very proud. But the week is not over yet… there is still more to come and we will keep you guys posted!

Wow.. We have arrived.. and how! After some delay in The Netherlands, we arrived late at night. But we tell you, the best remedy for your tiredness is taking a taxi from JFK airport into this magical place, called New York City! The lights, the crowd, the immense buildings, it is all simply overwhelming. Especially since we arrived at Fashion Night Out!

Fashion Night Out is THE kick-off night of the New York Fashion Week, a night where the official opening takes place and where numerous celebrities, designers and fashion minded people do their utmost best to leave the most spectacular impression of the year. Obviously we were blown away.. Parties and celebrations throughout the city including the most beautiful and sophisticated people. A very inspiring night, a night in which we almost forgot that the best is yet to come!

And now.. New York City by daylight! This first day we started by tasting the atmosphere of this amazing city, getting interviewd by Maybelline and of course we paid a visit to the Empire Hotel, the hotel where we will be hosting our pop-up store in co-operation with Maybelline New York tomorrow! Great location and please stay tuned for some pictures we will share tomorrow when we will have our very own Kiboots window. These pictures will give all of you trendsetting fans an idea on how we will be introducing our favourite pair of boots to the rest of the world!

1^st stop: New York City baby!

Exciting times ahead! And you guys are the first to know...

Kiboots is booming but that's no news for our loyal fans. Besides all the appreciation in The Netherlands, Kiboots is spreading around the globe. Our European fanbase is growing rapidly and now even North America is welcoming us with open arms... at the New York Fashion Week 2011! Kiboots will be hosting a pop-up store in co-operation with Maybelline New York and we can't wait to inspire the fashion world with our favorite pair of boots.

Since this amazing trip will be the first of many more international adventures, we can't leave our Kiboots friends behind. Therefore we introduce 'KIBOOTS ON THE ROAD' to take all of you along and share all the amazing experiences on our blog, experiences we would not have if our fans were not there to support us.
